4 thick bacon slices
1oz butter, melted
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4lb haricots verts, blanched for 1 minute in boiling water then cooled in iced water (use less if you want to be more "delicate"!)
Pre-heat oven to 360F.
In a large non-stick fry pan cook the bacon until just brown on edges but still very pliable/underdone, 4-6 mins. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to cool.
In a small bowl whisk the butter, garlic powder and salt.
Divide the beans into 4 equal portions and roll up each bundle in a bacon slice. Place on a baking tray and drizzle butter mixture over the top.
Cook in the oven for 20 mins. Serve immediately.
